Paul Brant Williger has more than 30 years of experience in Custom Residential Architecture, graduated from the Graduate School of Architecture of Columbia University and serves on the board of directors of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art (ICAA). Before graduating from Columbia University, he received a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois and Champaign-Urbana gave him the opportunity to study architecture in Versailles, France. It was while he worked for Robert AM Stern, one of his professors, during and after his studies at Columbia University, that Paul became acquainted with traditional residential architecture. When he arrived in California six years later, he was put in charge of several projects that he completed together with other firms. Until 2013, Paul was a director at Appleton & Associates for more than ten years, leading his own projects from that office. Ultimately, it made sense to start his own office and take over his clients, and in 2013 he was successful in doing so. Beginning with half a dozen large custom residential projects in Woodside, Laguna Beach and Beverly Hills, he has since expanded and taken on additional projects in Los Angeles, Montecito and Malibu.
