BRAND VAN EGMOND, handmade light sculptures<\/strong>
From his studio in Naarden, Dutch designer and architect William Brand has been designing exclusive lighting for more than 30 years. Together with his team, he has made BRAND VAN EGMOND a brand known for creations that are as avant-garde as they are unique each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With powerful archetypal elements, BRAND VAN EGMOND’s chandeliers not only radiate light, but also character, sensuality and sophistication. Because of the sculptural nature of the light objects, the designs are applicable in any type of interior, from modern to classic and from rural to luxurious. The addition of characterful lighting gives these different spaces not only light, but identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The craft of William Brand<\/strong>
William Brand, founder and designer, has built a body of light art in recent years that is as trendsetting as it is innovative. Every year, the architect-trained designer comes up with new collections of lighting. In his studio, truly everything is done by hand: from sketch to production. The latest production techniques and choice of materials, in concert with a boundlessly creative mind, creates sparkling new designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

William Brand’s light sculptures don’t just illuminate homes. Also, the light objects can be found in hotels such as the Four Seasons and W hotel, special restaurants and several palaces. Several luxury houses such as Chopard and Louis Vuitton have had light objects by his hand help define the look of their boutiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exclusive custom lighting<\/strong>
Some interiors call for something unique. Since handwork is the basis of every light sculpture, it is also possible to obtain customized sculptures. The studio’s experience and knowledge offer unlimited possibilities. The existing collections can be made in various finishes, sizes and proportions. It is also possible to have a completely new light sculpture developed by William Brand and his team.
