Overhead, the timber beam ceiling adds another layer to the room. The exposed beams make the roof structure legible, and their repeated lines slow the eye as it moves across the space. Against the white upper walls, the wood reads clearly. The ceiling does not hide the room\u2019s construction; it gives it a visible frame. That makes the kitchen feel anchored, especially in the wider views where the beam pattern runs across the full interior.<\/p>\n
The ceiling also works with the daylight. Large panes pull light deep into the room, and the pale wall surfaces reflect it back across the island and the staircase. You can read the whole arrangement in one glance: marbled worktop, open stair, glazed separation, and the beam grid above. Each part stays distinct, but none of them feels isolated. The room is arranged by sightlines as much as by walls.<\/p>\n
From the oak staircase, the route drops to the wine cellar below. The descent is part of the experience. Wood underfoot, metal at the side, and a shift in light all signal the change from the kitchen level to the room beneath. Ambient lighting runs through the storage wall and gives the bottles clear definition.<\/p>\n
The wine cellar also works as a lounge space. A billiard table sits in the middle, leaving room around it for movement and for the wall storage to stay visible. Glass walls bring in reflections, so the room reads as enclosed but not heavy. The racks, lit from within, form a strong pattern along the perimeter, while the table anchors the center. It is a room built from storage, light and one central piece of furniture.<\/p>\n
The wooden wine racks are not treated as loose furniture. They are built into the room, with repeated openings that keep the bottles orderly and easy to read. Behind them, the marble and stone accents give the storage wall a sharper edge. The lighting is set into the structure rather than added on top, so the glow follows the shelves instead of washing over the entire cellar. That makes the bottles, the wood grain and the dark recesses visible at the same time.<\/p>\n
In the cellar, the materials are quieter than upstairs, but the effect is more concentrated. Wood, stone and glass stay close together, and the room holds that mix without clutter. The billiard table leaves a broad pause in the middle, while the lit racks wrap around it. Together they create a lower, slower extension of the custom interior above, with the same attention to joinery and surface, only in a darker register.<\/p>\n
What links the kitchen and the cellar is the way each space is built from fitted elements. The organic kitchen island carries the room from the start, the staircase turns the route into a visible gesture, and the wine cellar brings the material story down one level further.
