Across the project, line does most of the work. The overlapping volumes establish the main axis, the glazing opens that axis toward the garden, and the terrace, path and stair details keep extending it in smaller ways. Light and dark masonry give the long elevations enough contrast to stay readable, while the glass prevents the composition from becoming closed or heavy. The house depends on that tension.<\/p>\n
