Instead, the lit rooms read as rectangular volumes embedded within the larger shell of stone, wood and curved glass.<\/p>\n
That same evening condition shows how the villa handles its horizontality. Long bands remain visible even when the sky darkens, and the dark timber elements keep the facade from becoming one flat plane of glass. The house gains depth from these layered edges.
