This special garden is somewhat hidden in the unique nature of the Reeuwijkse Plassen. Our client made a number of wishes known during the introductory talks. For example, the garden owner wanted a wellness area with a rectangular swimming pool and lounge terrace overlooking a natural pond with a rock wall and waterfall. Furthermore, privacy had to be guaranteed and the desire was to give the plants around the water features a Mediterranean or exotic character. The client also had a number of large images, so-called moai’s, which had to be given a good place in the plan. We started working with this special combination of wishes and came to an original design, in which luxury and nature are central.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The client was pleasantly surprised by the garden design we made with planting and lighting plan, after which we were also allowed to lay out the garden around the modern white villa. We founded the rock wall behind the natural pond underground and it was then built from more than 25 tons of natural stone from the Belgian Ardennes. Softly falling water from the top of the rock wall creates the desired exotic atmosphere. The sleek luxury pool area and the naturally designed pond are visually connected by two coarse wooden walkways, lying between natural stone boulders and coarse split. We have also installed various sturdy pile walls in this luxurious swimming pool garden on the Reeuwijkse Plassen. These walls, made of authentic bollards, act as windshields and provide a sense of security. The ground walls with carefully selected native and natural-looking plant species provide the desired privacy on the one hand and exciting views of the lake on the other. The special images of the client have been given an atmospheric place among the lush plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We deliberately kept the lighting in the garden subtle and we mainly opted for atmospheric lighting.
