This contemporary farmhouse is an architectural gem that combines the best of both worlds: the cachet of a traditional farmhouse in a sleek design with maximum contemporary comfort. The garden design came about before construction started. Thus, both could be optimally matched. During the construction of the garden, the project took another turn: two back building lots were added so that the design almost doubled in size.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Listening swimming pond<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Like a traditional homestead, the garden was divided into several zones. From a terrace with pizza oven and wellness corner with spa to an orchard and swimming pond with outdoor shower. The choice of a swimming pond was obvious: the residents wanted to look out on a beautiful-looking water feature even in winter. So I situated the planting area on the central sight axis of the home, and the view stops at a beautiful stucco-look wall with custom stainless steel water gutters. The water feature is a feast for the eyes, with seemingly floating terraces and tiles, enchanting lighting and sophisticated greenery with colorful accents. The swimming area is deliberately hidden from view a bit more so as not to mar at times when it is covered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
