The nearby paving has a stone-like surface and a curved outline, so the terrace does not feel cut off from the rest of the garden. Instead, the seating follows the line of the border and opens toward the lawn.<\/p>\n
From one angle, the parasol sits against a denser plant layer; from another, the eye picks up the open grass surface and the change in height between paving and border. That shift matters.
