White steel doors. You see them more and more and we understand why! The stairwell is closed in a classy way in this home. Useful for keeping out noise and saving energy but above all very beautiful. Downstairs, a hinged door was chosen because it had to close properly. Upstairs, the door is open more often and, in the context of saving space, the sliding door was the better option. We also got to make the walkable glass!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The seamless angled connection of the steel panel to the wooden stringer requires attention, but it is these details that we get excited about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
