The project reads as an interior project built on contrast: old timber against clean lines, open volumes against carefully resolved details. Large windows with black window frames sharpen that contrast and bring the outside light deep into the rooms.<\/p>\n
The beams are not treated as decoration. Their weight is visible, and that makes the rooms feel grounded. Underneath, the finishes stay restrained: light grey flooring, white painted surfaces and wood work that repeats in doors, cupboards and built-ins. The result is a country modern interior that relies on material presence rather than ornament. Even the transitions between rooms feel deliberate, with framed openings and paneled surfaces guiding the view from one space to the next.<\/p>\n
Several details return throughout the house. Grooved cabinet fronts introduce a vertical rhythm, while black handles and fittings cut through the lighter wood tones. The contrast is simple but effective. It gives the custom cabinetry a sharper outline and keeps the larger surfaces from feeling flat. In the places where the wood turns warmer or more subdued, the profile work still holds the composition together.<\/p>\n
The kitchen is built around material layers that are easy to read. Dark stone sits on the countertop, while the wall behind it is finished in tile with a deeper, patterned surface. That shift from smooth top to textured back wall makes the working zone stand out without asking for extra decoration. In some views, the cabinetry appears in soft blue, in others in pale pink or light grey, but the same language stays visible: grooved fronts, long black pulls and a steady relation between wood, tile and stone.<\/p>\n
Natural stone countertop surfaces appear again as a clear anchor in the kitchen. They sit against the tiled kitchen wall and next to pale floors, so the darker plane carries more visual weight than its size suggests. The furniture is compactly arranged, but the materials keep the room from flattening out. One of the strongest moves in the kitchen is the way the colour changes still follow the same cabinet structure. The light blue fronts, the pink fronts and the neutral versions all share the same vertical profiling and black hardware. That repetition links the different views without turning them into a showroom sequence. It also makes the custom cabinetry easy to follow from one image to the next, especially where the drawers, doors and tall panels meet in clean lines.<\/p>\n
The bathroom shifts the palette darker. A round bathroom mirror breaks up the harder lines of the tile wall, and the wooden vanity unit beneath it brings a softer grain into the room. The basin area is compact, but the material pairing carries it: dark wall tile, wood below, and stone-like surfaces where water meets the counter. The round form is important here because it interrupts all the straight edges around it.<\/p>\n
Another bathroom view focuses on the lower half of the room. A dark, stone-like basin sits in front of a horizontally set tile wall, while the wooden cabinet beneath is marked by small round knobs. The room does not depend on a long list of finishes; it works through repetition and surface changes. Smooth against ridged, matte against reflective, dark against pale. The contrast is small enough to stay quiet, yet strong enough to shape the room.<\/p>\n
Several close-ups show how the project handles the in-between parts of the interior. White paneled doors with vertical grooves appear in the passage areas, sometimes with a black handle or knob set against the pale surface. Those details are modest, but they matter because they repeat the same profile language found in the cabinetry. The black fittings make the grooves easier to read, while the white panels keep the transition spaces bright.<\/p>\n
Black window profiles return in the entrance and patio views, framing glass openings against light plaster and a brick base. The sheltered patio entrance is simple: a white paneled door, dark frames, and an exterior wall finished in pale render. It is the kind of passage that makes the inside and outside feel connected by material rather than by gesture. The profiles are crisp, the wall surfaces remain plain, and the door stands out because of its vertical rhythm.<\/p>\n
Seen together, the rooms form an interior project where structure, cabinetry and finish work stay closely linked. The wooden beams carry the oldest visual note, but the darker stone, tile and black details keep the setting from drifting into nostalgia. Instead, the project stays alert to surface changes. A groove, a joint, a mirror edge, a door panel: each one adds another line to the same composition, and each one is easy to follow in the photographs.<\/p>\n
