Canal House Amsterdam
The Silk Road from the Far East and the Golden Age in Amsterdam have been a source of inspiration for the interior of this World Heritage canal house. The renovation and decoration of the entire building took two years.
The special hardwood floor, boiserie entrance, hand-painted chinoiserie and fully curved wooden stairs from the kitchen to the living room form a completely open space that allows daylight to enter from both sides. The combination of Japanese details, special silk and a ‘La Cornue’ kitchen ensure that the history of the canal house is not lost.
We have completely renovated this home and furnished it with unique and unusual materials to create a mix of styles that reflect the resident’s personality and passion for details.
