“Perfectly suits the standing of this luxury domain”
These horse stables were fully developed with Heritage Buildings’ authentic oak construction method. This approach resulted in a unique accommodation for the horses, but also fits in with the English rural standing of this luxury domain of more than 20 hectares.

Expand a domain in one style
The authentic oak outbuildings of Heritage Buildings were also chosen for other construction projects on the domain. For example, we also realized an office space and a tractor shed for the same client, using our authentic mortise and tenon method.

Once again, the enormous flexibility of this construction method is apparent from the wide variety of assignments in the same domain. These oak outbuildings have hardly any limitations in terms of functionality, design and dimensions. Everything is drawn up and elaborated to measure, completely in accordance with the high-quality requirements of the customer.

An oak outbuilding of Heritage Buildings requires no further maintenance and has a lifespan that easily spans several generations. The buildings therefore offer enormous added value for large domains that are often expanded over the generations by one family.

Stabling in oak wood
The oak stables are literally the showpiece of this unique rural domain in the Antwerp area. It comprises a total of 15 parking facilities, spread over several buildings. The horses are cared for in all comfort in these stylish stables. Each part is tailored to the needs and requirements of these noble animals. The natural moisture regulation of the oak outbuildings guarantees a healthy indoor climate for the animals.

Customized interior design
The inside of these stables was deliberately finished with afrormosia wood, class 1. This hardwood can withstand the hard and fierce stamping that the animals sometimes give. The barn doors were also made by Heritage Buildings themselves and consist of Afrormosia.

A specialized company was called in for the specialized interior fitting of the samples. The stables themselves were equipped with a slot and grid. All these slots are connected to each other, so that they ensure perfect drainage after spraying out the stables. The floors consist of mats that protect the animals’ hooves and provide extra thermal insulation.

Tack room and sanitary facilities
At the front, the horse stable contains a covered area. Here the horse can be washed and saddled. The tack room is located behind this space. There is also a shower room and toilet, ideal after a muddy ride or for a thorough wash of the animal.
