House HE Brasschaat

Bright villa with spacious loft
The villa is located on a rear plot, behind an elongated driveway. In order to optimally enjoy the sun and daylight, the house has been rotated ninety degrees. The side of the house has now become the rear facade, with each room or room giving out completely to the garden.

Maximum transparency
The transparent building focuses entirely on sun and daylight. The rear facade is fully glazed and offers an integral view of the garden. At the height of the dining area, a meter high and wide window has been realized that runs over two floors.

This glass section brings nature inside very nicely. It anchors the house in the garden, as it were. In summer, the incidence of light is limited by the cantilevered terraces on the second floor.

Mezzanine with a boutique feel
The five meter high void creates a kind of cuckoo’s nest and a boutique has been created there where the lady of the house can store all her shoes and handbags.

Home elevator for lifelong living at home
Where the stairs rise is also the shaft of the elevator. Living at home for life is an important theme for residents. The integration of the gearless home lift meets this need. The residents have now and later enjoy it so that their house can remain their home.
