After deliberation, it was decided to completely renovate the ground floor of this house, because underfloor heating was the wish. The wooden herringbone went out and white concrete took its place. Fresh and modern was the wish and preferably also more spacious than the current state.

The ensuite doors were removed and replaced with slender black glass doors and the old fireplace was replaced by a new gas fireplace. Which is seamlessly incorporated into an elongated sideboard. Slender shelves and lighting from the coves, a generous sofa for watching TV with the whole family. New window coverings after the windows were replaced. Wall lighting and wallpaper to dress it all up. And balance in the use of color on the entire ground floor, making it one.

The existing dining table actually wanted to get rid of the client, because they no longer liked the glass top. Fortunately, not the entire table had to be removed, but only the top. It has been replaced with a beautiful Fenix top that has a matte finish and is scratch resistant. That material was also used for the shelves and sideboard in the living room.

The characteristic Gispen chairs were stripped of the orange rib fabric and reupholstered. In line with the shiny fabrics of the sofa and the wallpaper. A balanced mix of modern design, luxury and comfort.
