New build villa Overijssel

This beautiful new-build villa in Overijssel was recently completed. Just like the residents and many parties who contributed to the villa, we are very happy and proud with the result.

Nexxt Lighting has commissioned photographer Robert Koelewijn to photograph the house. The emphasis in the assignment was on the lighting (which comes out beautifully). The house exudes class and quality both inside and out. The photos in this article are the result of this assignment. Building is really an interplay of different disciplines. The structure of the layout, heights and structure have been designed by 01Architecten. The styling and choice of furniture was provided by Label Thirty One from Zwolle. Cortus BouwDirectors guided the family in the construction process.

A clear height of 2.9 meters
The ceilings are higher than the standard height. The Building Decree specifies a size of 2.6 metres. In this case there was room in the budget and zoning plan to use a greater height. This gives the house even more appearance on the inside. In addition, a spacious loft has been worked on at the entrance. This void is created around the stairs and is a nice place to make the lighting in this place stand out.

A double door in herringbone pattern
Designing is an interplay of different ideas. For example, the interior architect suggested that the front door also be designed in a herringbone pattern. This connects the interior and the architecture of the building.

The void is high and spacious and continues up to the ridge. Beautiful lighting from Nexxt Lighting has been placed in this void, which completes the picture.

A basement as a living layer
A basement offers many possibilities. Especially when it occupies a large part of the house. Because of the walls, the cellar is very suitable for wellness, a gym or wine storage. But also for a bedroom. By placing the windows in the cuckoo (the ‘trays in the basement through which light enters) low, the space can be used very well as a full bedroom.

Calm and symmetry
This new-build villa in Overijssel makes optimal use of the width of the plot. The shape of the house is symmetrical. This creates tranquility and a stately appearance. By varying the design of the openings, the image becomes more interesting.

Swimming pool in detached pool house
The pool house is located on the axis of symmetry on the other side of the garden. This building has an open roof, which makes it very spacious inside. Due to the large fronts, there is a lot of contact with the outside and it is an embellishment of the garden.
