Estate Laren

InteriorMX was commissioned by Herman Peters Interiordesign to assign its special qualities to this typical ‘Gooise Villa’, recognizable by its white walls, thatched roof and striking details, situated in a beautiful location in the wooded surroundings of Laren(NH). Also on the property are a pool house and swimming pool.

What is striking is that each space has been given its own accent. Elegance and luxury are the unifying words in this interior. Vibrant colors, rich materials and beautiful details have been chosen.

Upon entering through the spacious entryway, your eye immediately catches the large loft with a stately, custom-made staircase and ceiling-high cabinetry clad in leather.

Through the large pivot doors you enter the living kitchen where, above the stone-clad kitchen island, you can enjoy a striking lamp that incorporates stones that provide an extra light dimension. The specially designed coffee bar incorporates both leather and metal.

On the second floor, Herman Peters Interiordesign created, among other things, a master bedroom with walk-in closet. Turquoise wallpaper with velvet details are responsible for the surprising color combination. Adjacent is a generous bathroom in which a large tub is positioned so that you have a view of a beautiful piece of nature.

In the basement, mainly natural materials have been used and, in addition to the wine cellar, we find the wellness and sauna. Here predominantly dark colors were used in combination with extremely atmospheric lighting.
