Surprising beauty

Getting to know the work of Victoria-Maria Geyer is an encounter with a unique design philosophy. The interior architect, originally from Germany, grew up in Brussels and lived for periods in Italy. Her fascination for art history, architecture and fashion led to the creation of her own interior design company in 2008. Over the years, Victoria-Maria has developed a recognizable signature in which different styles, times, materials and colors are combined in interiors with a surprising beauty.

One of Victoria-Maria’s many special projects is the renovation of her own home, an old mansion. The characteristic building was transformed by the interior architect from a dark house into an open and light whole, while retaining some original details.

Victoria-Maria is often inspired by one special element in her work.

In the case of her own home, the colorful sofa in the living room formed the starting point for the interior concept. The white base is reflected in the calm framing of the interior, including some walls and custom objects. The multicolored print is translated into the cheerful, warm decoration. Victoria-Maria chose a combination of furniture from the 1970s and art from the late 1900s, for a cosmopolitan and eclectic whole. Also special are the self-designed carpets from her collection The Invisible Collection and the self-designed door, window and cupboard handles, developed by the Vervloet company. Each space has its own mix with surprising elements and unique textures and details, which together create a strong unity and at the same time give you the idea that you are never tired of it.
