Rural renovation farmhouse

The main building is an authentic farm house that had to be completely renovated.
In the living room, the roof structure and doors were sandblasted so that the whole became much more airy. The roof surfaces were insulated and finished with an acoustic stretch ceiling. The kitchen has been completely gutted and refurbished in a country style, with an Aga cooker at the heart of the kitchen.

Natural materials that create a warm atmosphere were chosen: sawn oak and burnt bluestone. Given its limited surface area, the bathroom on the ground floor is nevertheless equipped with every comfort and with uniform materials. The wall finish was chosen for a moisture-repellent paint technique Aqua Sensa from Boss Paints.
