Signature style
Victoria-Maria is often described as an iconoclast, thanks to the way she creatively blends antique and contemporary pieces in her projects. She manages to stay in step with current trends while remaining unmistakably original.
Bold in her choices, Victoria-Maria combines references from the past with contemporary elements and a sharp eye on today’s designers. She masterfully brings together the eras of the last two centuries with flair.
Favorite project
The “NIGHT” and “DAY” rugs she designed, inspired by Puccini’s Turandot.
“NIGHT” is dark and dramatic. It brings to mind the heart-wrenching prince singing “Nessun Dorma”.
DAY, light and joyful, embodies a new beginning and bright prospects. The prince sings “Vincerò!”
The “NIGHT” and “DAY” rug collection, inspired by Puccini’s opera Turandot.
“NIGHT” is sombre and dramatic, like the prince’s anguish in “Nessun Dorma”.
“DAY” is light and joyful, like the relief felt by the Prince at dawn when he finds the solution.
