Modern house with large windows: exterior and interior

Large panes of glass set the tone here. The house is drawn with a clear contrast between white plaster surfaces and dark cladding, while the broad openings pull the garden and the interior into the same view. It reads as a modern house with large windows, but the interest lies in the details: the way the frames line up, the depth of the overhang, and the pause created by the covered outdoor area.

White plaster, dark cladding, and a wide glass front

The first impression comes from the façade rhythm. White wall planes sit beside darker vertical surfaces, so the building does not flatten into one surface. Instead, the openings stand out. Wide windows and glazed doors break the exterior into clear sections, and the long horizontal canopy pulls the eye across the front. That strong line is repeated in the terrace edge and the roof overhang, giving the house a steady profile without making it feel heavy.

In the side and corner views, the contrast becomes sharper. Dark cladding frames parts of the volume, while the white plaster keeps the larger surfaces calm. A modern house with large windows can easily depend on glass alone, but here the solid parts still matter. They give the openings something to sit against, and they make the light feel more deliberate when it reaches the rooms inside.

A covered terrace held by wooden posts

The outdoor space is not treated as a leftover strip along the house. A covered terrace with wooden posts marks a real transition between inside and garden. The posts hold the canopy in a visible way, and that structure gives the terrace its own pace. Underneath, the paving sits close to the glazed wall, so the threshold remains low and easy to read. The terrace feels like a place to stop between the house and the lawn rather than a separate zone placed beside it.

From different angles, the patio area shows how the hard surfaces and planting are arranged around the building. Stone paving, gravel, and low greenery keep the foreground tidy without looking formal. Ornamental grasses soften the edge near the house, and the lawn opens the view beyond. This mix of patio, grass, and planting gives the garden a calm frame for the glazing, especially where the covered terrace extends out from the main volume.

Daylight across the open-plan living area

Inside, the open-plan living area with plenty of daylight is shaped by the same long window lines seen outside. Light reaches deep into the room, and the surfaces stay pale enough to reflect it. A set of hanging lights marks the ceiling zone, while the floor reads as a light-toned tile or laminate look that keeps the room visually quiet. The result is not a blank interior; it is a room that depends on the size of the openings and the length of the views toward the garden.

The living room also includes an open fireplace and windows, which anchor the interior at two points at once. One edge is defined by the fire element, while the opposite side opens to the outside. That makes the room feel arranged by direction rather than decoration. You read the route of the space through the furniture-free surfaces, the doorway positions, and the way the glazing reaches into the corner of the room.

Kitchen sink by the window

The kitchen keeps its attention on the working edge. The sink by the window makes the view part of the task area, so the worktop is not turned inward. A continuous counter and light wall finish keep the line clear, and the window above the sink brings in direct daylight. It is a small shift, but it changes how the room is used: the most practical point in the kitchen is also the point with the strongest view.

Because the surfaces stay restrained, the window can do most of the visual work. The cabinetry does not compete with the opening, and the layout reads as compact and ordered. From the images, the kitchen appears to sit within the same open-plan sequence as the living and dining areas, so the glazed wall becomes a shared reference rather than a feature limited to one room.

Bathroom details kept clear and direct

The bathroom is described through two visible elements: a bathroom double vanity and a bathroom mirror light strip. The double basin setup gives the wall a broader working surface, while the illuminated mirror adds a thin horizontal accent above it. Rather than using ornament, the room relies on alignment. The basins, mirror, and wall plane sit in a clear stack, which keeps the room legible even in a compact frame.

The surfaces around the vanity stay pale and smooth, so the light strip reads more distinctly. It draws a line across the room and helps define the washing zone without adding bulk. That treatment suits the rest of the house, where openings and surfaces are kept precise and uncluttered. Here too, the room is built around what is visible and used, not around decorative excess.

Bedroom with a large window and garden view

The bedroom is the quietest room in the set, but it carries one of the strongest visual moves: a large window with dark frames that opens the wall toward the garden. Curtains soften the opening when needed, yet the window remains the dominant feature. The room looks toward greenery rather than a blank boundary, and that outward view becomes part of the room’s daily rhythm. A bedroom large window does more than bring in light; it gives the space a clear orientation.

The floor’s light tile or laminate look continues the calm surface language seen elsewhere in the house. Pleisterwerk on the walls and the glass opening keep the room simple, while the dark frame gives the window enough weight to stand out. The layout stays restrained, with little competing detail. That makes the view to the garden feel sharper, especially when the curtains are pulled back and the glazing takes over the wall.

What the photo set makes clear

Across the images, the house is defined by repetition rather than spectacle. Wide glass openings, dark frame lines, white plaster, and a steady canopy structure create a legible rhythm from exterior to interior. The garden supports that rhythm with lawn, gravel, and planting strips instead of heavy ornament. Inside, the rooms keep the same discipline: daylight, clear surfaces, and a layout that lets the openings remain the main event. It is a modern house with large windows, but more importantly, it is a house where those windows actively shape how each room is read.
