For this home, GewoonGers made and installed interior doors for the existing frame. The door to the hall is fitted with smoked glass limiting views from the living room. To match the doors, the door of the staircase closet also features smoked glass, but with a matte finish. Thus, the contents of the cabinetry are hidden, but still retain the looks of a glass door.

Steel doors with smoked glass are increasingly used in contemporary interiors. The warm tint in the glass adds homeliness and clear separation between two spaces.

Both doors are finished in bronze powder coat finish. This gives the doors a luxurious, warm look. Both hinges and lock plate and door handle are delivered in the same color and finish.

The residents of this house had the house delivered with mute new construction windows. Then the window frames were painted black to match the rest of the interior.
