Decoration Empire

From the first sketch to the final detail, Decoration Empire belongs to a small, select group of interior designers and architects worldwide that delivers complete projects. Design, site supervision, furnishings and fit-out are all handled in-house. Under the inspiring leadership of Anne Noordam and Thong Lei, an all-round company has emerged that operates at an international level. Creating a home is a complex and time-consuming process for a client. With our many years of knowledge in construction, renovation and project guidance, we can take as much off our clients’ hands as possible and create a home of high quality that works from start to finish.

We believe in total design: the integration of indoors with outdoors, and vice versa. We never work in isolation. Our design team approaches every space together, because the best design is born from challenging one another and learning from each other. We also call that ping-ponging.

Mission

Our mission is to develop the most beautiful homes and interiors for our clients. The homes are free of a fixed style and free of passing trends. We like to design exceptional houses and interiors: a mix of different styles, cultures and countries. Our vision is to create a sense of tension in every room or building, so that a space or home never becomes boring. Most importantly, we design a home for our clients, for them to live in, not for us. As a result, no interior or house is ever designed to look the same.

Anne Noordam

Things never go exactly the way you want them to. Dealing with that and guiding it in the right direction is my job. Making sure, again and again, that the best possible result comes to the surface. That the truth lies at the bottom. I am not easily satisfied and keep searching for the right designs and concepts. It is the small details, such as exactly the right lampshade or the right patina on the parquet floors, that make the difference between a pleasant interior and what we stand for.

Thong Lei

The challenge lies in the creativity and quality we want to achieve. Our advantage and our challenge is that we want to control everything. From concept to the right technical execution. We encourage our people to think as proactively as possible, so you can stay ahead of mistakes. That saves frustration, time and money. Our team understands that lifestyle begins and ends with our work.
