Originating from a love of interior and product design, Grand&Johnson was founded in 2010 by Bertel Grote & Jeroom Jansen. The design studio has since grown into an intimate team of interior designers and product designers. A design studio where interior design for private and commercial clients is done with pure attention and attention to detail. In the Netherlands, but also abroad.
Grand&Johnson’s strength lies in designing and realizing a total concept, conceiving and creating custom solutions that seamlessly fit the client’s needs. Grand&Johnson is primarily called upon for villa construction and large-scale renovations. Not only do they develop the interior and lighting plan, they also put together all the colors and materials, both indoors and outdoors. And they help think about the finishing touches in styling and art.
Grand&Johnson’s perfect design emerges from the interplay of everything and everyone that contributes to it. Where all the details come together and form a unit. A design with a story. A small world in itself. Where there is a constant search for balance in shapes, colors, materials. It enables the company to produce a powerful end result.
Grand&Johnson not only realizes extraordinary interiors. They also design products, which are produced in collaboration with various parties. The products, some seemingly simple but all sophisticatedly thought out, are presented in their 420 m2 concept store. Every visit to the concept store is a unique experience where the contemporary interior design is constantly complemented by special styling accessories.
With this concept store, Grand&Johnson conveys its philosophy: that interior design should be unique and individual. A product designed and realized with care, a design that amazes. Everything thought out in detail and manufactured from only quality materials.
