At De Rooy Metaaldesign, the passion for working with steel began in 1893 with great-great-grandfather Reijndert Dirk. Now, approximately 125 years later, the love for the steel craft is in the hands of Marein de Rooy. The De Rooy Metaaldesign family business is based on inspiration.
Design products made of steel
De Rooy Metaaldesign has been designing and producing steel design products using traditional methods for years. In the 1980s it started with entrance gates and fencing. Later the stairs were added and since 2006 especially the steel interior doors. In 2018, De Rooy Metaaldesign added the steel doors with leather. The combination of craftsmanship and creativity is valued by architects and individuals.
Innovation and development
Innovation and the development of original models keep De Rooy Metaaldesign sharp. New developments in technology and production process make more and more possible. An example of this is De Rooy Metaaldesign’s production method, on which they have received a patent. It goes without saying that they are proud of this, which is more important: it makes your door stronger and extra stylish.
