Detached country house
On a newly developed lot located on a main road connecting the city center with its rural surroundings, Spanjers Architect designed this detached country house. On the street side, the house presents itself calm and subdued, due to its simple forms. At the rear, more tension is brought into the composition by two perpendicular volumes that both end in a canopy. The main building is modern because of the white stucco on the facades combined with black window frames to the ground. The additions are more traditional and consist of dark stained pot lid work and exposed wood structures. This combination gives this country house a rural yet very luxurious look.
