I recently had the opportunity to create a design for this amazing nursery. To make the best use of the space, the crib was placed on an elevation, cabinets were placed in the steps of the steps and space was created next to the bench in the windowsill to hang clothes. For kids, this elevation is great AND you don’t lose space because of the placement of this elevation and storage spaces.

It’s a nursery now, but I always design with an eye forward. The use of soft, neutral tones keeps the room timeless, but also makes it a true girl’s room. The wallpaper on the wall adds tremendous atmosphere and provides warmth, making it a wonderful place where she can retreat and play with friends. The nook with the mosquito net is a dreamy addition to the room and an ideal spot to read a book or unwind. As she gets older, the wallpaper can be replaced and the mosquito net can be replaced with a nice desk to study at.
