A modern and new house on the old mesh with a grandiose view. This lot close to Rotterdam is a great desire of our client. When you move from a family home to a Luxurious waterfront villa, it requires a completely different interior. Since the children are out of the house, they were able to fulfill their greatest wish.

Bringing two styles together
The clients had a desire for a thoughtful and personal interior. Not an interior design where the hand of the interior designer predominates. Therefore, they wanted help decorating the new home and asked us for a tasteful but colorful interior design. Bringing two styles together and balancing two different tastes is quite a challenge. Still, it turned out beautifully with color, refined details and beautiful materials.

The color palette
The color green was used as the base color but also subtly implemented in all parts of the home. From the greenery on the wall to the greenery in the accessories. Because of the size of the overall sitting room with open kitchen, it was important (without losing the beautiful view) to still create a certain degree of intimacy. By incorporating the fireplace and TV in a piece of furniture in the middle of one object in the middle of the room, a room divider was created. This naturally splits the dining area and living room. By executing this custom work in beautiful white, it seemed natural to be part of the structure. The wall unit and kitchen are also custom-made and designed especially for the client.
