The renovation of this dream home of the builder -and wife took quite some time. In advance, the couple had made a must-have and a nice-to-have list.

But the architect was given freedom in terms of layout. The advice? Save the best view for the kitchen. The heart of the house. The large sliding window draws the garden into the space. Because the window is often open, you get the effect of an outdoor kitchen.

In summer, the sun provides so much heat that the curtains go up. Combined with a summer breeze, it creates a playful spectacle.
