Located in the heart of Brussels, near the Sonian Forest, Residence VF has been completely renovated to meet the architectural program of the new owners, the family and professional life that must live together. The workspaces had to allow for creation, the liberation of the mind, while creating a bubble that fosters concentration and rigor in everyone’s work.

The choice of materials played a major role in the renovation; they had to be both in harmony with the originality of the house and create a contemporary family cocoon. Rounded shapes for a sweet life, a choice of subtle colors to brighten up the room, natural materials such as marble and wood to dress the different rooms of the house. So many thoughtful decisions to bring architectural continuity to the whole project.

The central staircase is covered with a carpet in the colors gold, in contrast to the black of the existing staircase, the central skylight bathes the whole house in natural light. The friendly and functional kitchen, with the island completely covered in marble, brings family and friends together. Custom joinery adorns all areas of the home. So many prejudices that make this house an architectural design that perfectly reflects the work of the architectural firm Studio P Architects.
