Design classic from Duravit and Philippe Starck: the new Starck 1 barrel

The new Starck 1 barrel has new colors, interior lighting and matching mirror. The next chapter in the extraordinary success story of the Starck 1 ton. Designer Philippe Starck and Duravit have further refined the design classic in a number of ways. Even at its product launch in 1994, the basin with undermount cabinet impressed with its archaic basic shape, reminiscent of a bucket and bowl.

Today, the Starck barrel is much more than just a sink. After the latest update, it has plenty of storage space and provides light in the dark. When opening the doors, the optional LED system provides perfect illumination. This allows any user to find what they are looking for instantly. The frosted glass used in the barrel looks particularly soft when illuminated. The new mirror also provides a clear image. The exterior edge lighting adds a warm atmosphere to any bathroom. Its rectangular shape contrasts discreetly with the rounded shapes of the tapered barrel, creating a beautiful overall look.

The design classic has been expanded with new, trendy silk mat lacquers, in colors from white to midnight blue. The high-gloss lacquers white and black and three wood veneer surfaces remain available. Plenty of creative freedom for the individual dream bathroom.
