Expansion and upgrading of a modern villa on the Vecht. The house is currently separated from the driveway by a “green moat”: a Stinse garden. Local elevation of the moat by wooden platforms provides a good base on which to place the extension. Moreover, it makes the moat approachable. Upstairs, the house is enlarged. The enlargement and extension are done in anthracite zinc and form a beautiful combination with the existing masonry.
