Projects in Design Phase

The first thing that stands out is the drawing logic: thin lines for paths, solid blocks for the house volume, and color fields that separate planting, paving and water. In these projects in design phase, the garden is not treated as a backdrop. It is mapped as part of the same composition as the house, with circulation, boundaries and open space already set out in plan.

The preliminary design work shifts between 2D site plan layout and bird’s-eye 3D views. That change in scale makes the layout easy to read. One image shows the plot as a controlled diagram, with darker shapes marking the building and lighter zones opening toward terraces, lawn and beds. Another view pulls the whole scheme together and shows how the house sits inside the garden rather than beside it.

Reading the site from above

The site plan layout is where the structure becomes clear. Paved routes cut through the plot, while planting zones hold the edges together. In several drawings, the water feature is placed as a rectangle near the outdoor living area, so the pool and terrace design reads as one zone instead of two separate pieces. The geometry is direct: straight runs, measured corners and clean transitions between hard and soft surfaces.

What gives the drawings their character is the way they organize movement. Paths do not wander. They connect entrances, terraces and garden sections in a clear sequence. Around the house, the plan leaves room for lawns and planted borders, while denser green edges frame the plot. That formal garden layout keeps attention on proportion and orientation, especially where the house volume meets the open garden fields.

Zones, edges and planting structure

The garden design concept relies on repeated bands of green rather than loose planting. Hedged edges, rounded clipped forms and narrow border strips appear throughout the images, often used to guide the eye along the perimeter. These shapes give the layout a steady rhythm. They also separate the more open lawn areas from the paved parts, so each zone keeps its own function without visual clutter.

Several of the concept views show the same discipline in a more detailed way. Gravel strips run beside low walls, and paving changes texture where a terrace turns into a walkway. In one plan, the boundaries of the plot are emphasized with dark edges and planting pockets, while a compact tree or shrub circle softens the larger grid. That contrast between sharp outline and rounded green forms keeps the layout readable from above.

3D garden visualization with house and terrain

The 3D garden visualization adds volume to the plan. From an aerial angle, the house reads as a solid object set into the terrain, with garden zones spreading out around it. Roof planes, terrace lines and open lawn areas all become part of the same spatial picture. Instead of presenting the house as a finished object on its own, the visual shows how the outdoor space collects around it and how the circulation works from one edge to another.

This is where the projects in design phase feel most specific. The viewer can read the relationship between building and garden immediately: a terrace opening to a lawn, a hard surface meeting planting, and a water element placed close to the main outdoor zone. The design language remains measured. There is enough detail to understand the proposal, but still enough openness to suggest how the scheme may develop further.

A formal garden layout around the villa

At ground level, the exterior views confirm the same order. Large windows, brick accents and dark frames give the house a clear horizontal and vertical rhythm. In front, clipped hedges and shaped green mounds line the lawn, while a gravel or stone path traces the border. The result is a formal garden layout that uses straight edges and repeated forms to hold the house in place visually.

One view places the garden directly against the facade, with the lawn acting as a clean field in front of the glazing. Another shows the side and rear zones where paving, low walls and dense greenery work together to define the outdoor room. The surfaces remain restrained: brick, glass, concrete paving and planted edges. That limited palette lets the shape of the plan do the work.

Terrace, paving and pool as one outdoor sequence

The pool and terrace design appears as a secondary but important thread across the imagery. A rectangular pool sits beside a paved edge, with the terrace line pulling the eye along the water. In some views the water is framed by dark brick and broad glazing, which makes the outdoor space feel anchored to the house. The proportion is carefully handled: the pool is long and direct, and the terrace has enough width to function as a clear buffer.

Paving plays a practical visual role here. It links the pool zone to the house and then extends into the garden as a route or sitting surface. The edges are crisp, often defined by narrow borders or low retaining lines. This gives the whole outdoor sequence a clear reading in the images. You can see where one area ends and the next begins, even before the design is fully built.

Materials that keep the layout legible

Brick, glass and concrete surfaces are the main materials visible in the concept imagery. Brick anchors the house volume and appears again in low walls and edge details, while glass opens the facade toward the garden. Concrete paving and pale terrace surfaces draw out the lines of movement. None of these elements are used for decoration alone. They help explain the site plan layout by showing where people move, where the garden opens, and where the house is meant to receive light and views.

The planting does the same work at a softer scale. Dense hedges define boundaries, and clipped shrubs mark points within the lawn. The round green forms in the forecourt interrupt the straight lines without weakening them. In the context of these projects in design phase, that mix of precise geometry and controlled planting is what gives the drawings their clarity. The concept is easy to follow because every line has a purpose.

Seen together, the drawings and visualizations describe a garden design concept that is still in development, but already precise in outline. The house volume, the terrace, the pool, the paving and the planted borders all sit within one readable framework. The page does not present a finished scene. It shows the moment when a proposal becomes spatially clear, and when the relationship between house and garden starts to take shape on paper and in 3D.
