Mobile outdoor kitchen with fixed side elements

The green ceramic grill sits at the center of the covered outdoor kitchen, framed by black cabinetry and interrupted by a mobile cooking unit that gives the layout its clear rhythm. On either side, fixed modules hold a teppanyaki plate and a sink with tap, so the work surface reads as one continuous line rather than separate parts. Wood posts and dark ceiling elements appear above the counters, while the terrace and planting in the background keep the setting grounded in the garden.

A central unit that changes the pace of the terrace

The mobile outdoor kitchen unit is placed where the eye lands first. Its position breaks the straight run of cabinets and turns the cooking zone into the main feature of the composition. The Big Green Egg Large is set into this central block, with the rounded green shell standing out against the dark base. Around it, the other elements remain fixed and low, which keeps the focus on the cooking core without closing off the view toward the seating area beyond.

Seen from the front, the arrangement feels compact but not crowded. Black fronts, straight handles and clean edges keep the lines under control, while the open terrace beyond introduces a looser background of chairs, bench seating and greenery. That contrast is part of the appeal of this mobile outdoor kitchen: the cooking zone is clearly defined, yet it still belongs to the wider outdoor room rather than standing apart from it.

Teppanyaki, sink and grill in one working line

One side of the central grill unit is paired with a teppanyaki plate, the other with a sink and tap. Those two fixed elements give the mobile outdoor kitchen a practical sequence for cooking, washing and serving. Because the modules are aligned next to one another, the work zone reads as a single setup. The result is a kitchen that can move from grilling to flat-plate cooking to rinsing without crossing the terrace or breaking the line of the counter.

The teppanyaki surface adds a different kind of cooking zone to the composition. Its flat shape contrasts with the rounded body of the grill and the rectangular faces of the cabinets. The sink, placed close to the worktop edge, introduces a visible pause in the dark surface. These details make the outdoor kitchen with teppanyaki and sink easy to read from a distance, even before the individual functions become clear.

Dark fronts, wood posts and a covered roofline

The overhanging roof gives the kitchen a defined ceiling plane. Under it, the dark panels and black worktops feel deliberate and restrained, with the wood posts adding a warmer note to the structure. Horizontal profiling in the side panels breaks up the surface without distracting from the overall line. Light fixtures are visible beneath the cover, so the space gains another layer of depth above the cooking level.

The black and wood outdoor kitchen avoids a heavy look by keeping the materials in separate roles. Dark cabinetry anchors the lower part of the layout, while the timber posts and beams bring a lighter vertical cadence. From the side, the profile is especially clear: the covered outdoor kitchen is not only a row of appliances, but also a measured composition of support, surface and opening. The glazed opening behind it helps connect the sheltered zone with the rest of the home and garden.

What the close-ups reveal

Close views show how the grill is fitted into the central module and how the surrounding counter absorbs the different cooking functions. The green ceramic body sits within a black frame, and the lid, handles and open or half-open positions make the unit feel active rather than static. In another view, the sink zone is visible at the right edge of the worktop, with the tap rising from the dark surface beside the grill. These images make the mobile outdoor kitchen legible as a working setup, not just a decorative one.

The wall panels behind the counters carry the same dark tone as the cabinets, but their horizontal profile gives the background a different texture. On the work surface, the edges stay crisp and the transitions remain tight. That restraint lets the details do the speaking: the matte black base, the green grill shell, the pale wood uprights and the metallic tap. Nothing is overdrawn. The composition stays focused on the use of each part.

Terrace, seating and planting around the cooking area

Beyond the kitchen, the terrace opens to a dining and seating area with a table and benches. The furniture is placed close enough to remain part of the cooking scene, but far enough to keep a clear route in front of the counters. Green planting softens the edges of the terrace and pushes the view back into the garden. This setting gives the covered outdoor kitchen a natural boundary without enclosing it.

Seen in context, the project feels built around movement: from the terrace to the grill, from the sink to the teppanyaki plate, and from the covered work zone toward the seating area. The mobile outdoor kitchen sits at the center of that sequence. It marks the place where preparation happens, while the surrounding deck, plants and sheltered roofline make room for people to gather nearby. The layout stays clear, easy to read and anchored in the outdoor space around it.

Another view on the central cooking core

A later view brings the green grill forward again, this time with the black cabinet front and open storage below it more visible. The central outdoor grill unit remains the visual anchor, even when the camera moves closer to the side wall and the wood post at the edge of the frame. That shift in angle shows how the kitchen keeps its structure from every direction: dark base, defined worktop, one active center, and fixed support on both sides.

Because the kitchen is covered, the upper structure becomes part of the composition instead of just a practical shelter. The underside of the roof, the hanging light points and the dark framing line up with the cabinetry below. Together they shape a project that is easy to read from the terrace. The mobile outdoor kitchen holds the center, while the fixed elements, sink, teppanyaki plate and wood accents give it the rest of its working order.
