The client of this cool water garden lived in Japan for a period of time and wanted to see these influences and memories reflected in the new garden. Wishes included running water, a nice pond, several seating areas in the sun and shade, boulders and beautiful mature trees to soften the building around….

We took great care to find fantastic trees, the foundation of the garden and its atmosphere. Consider various species of Swamp Cypress, Japanese Walnut and Maple, Scots Pine, Golden Birch, Velvet Tree, Zelkova and Plane Tree. In addition, rocks and crushed stone have been used in a variety of sizes giving the garden a wonderful Mediterranean vacation feel.The whole family thoroughly enjoys this fine place. There is always something new to experience, there are many new birds in the garden and the colors and atmosphere of the plantings actually change throughout the year. A garden made to relax and to keep discovering.
