The floating staircase starts with steps at an elevation with drawer, continues at the wall and finally turns up through the wall. With extra thick steps where the steel fencing is playfully incorporated. A nice structural challenge were the large floating steps in the middle of the turn. The wall section is also part of the structure. Form follows function; construction actually enhances the design.
