Originally, there was no staircase at this position. Our client wanted to make the upstairs accessible from the living room. A chic staircase, but one that doesn’t scream for attention. And it worked out quite well. 8mm solid sheet steel steps provide an extremely minimalist design and open character. The steel balustrade with glass along the stairs finds a neat fit with the existing balustrade along the mezzanine. The white powder coat finish makes this staircase special, but also gives a calm look against the white wall. Mission accomplished, if we do say so ourselves.
