Diependael Castle
A Belgian legend reinvented
The renovation of Diependael Castle is a harmonious blend of architectural heritage and contemporary design, respectfully preserving the past while elegantly shaping the future. Originally built in the 17th century, this Flemish estate near Brussels has a rich history and was home to a renowned Michelin-starred restaurant for over 30 years. Today, it has been carefully redesigned as a refined residence and the flagship showroom of Rêve by Gregoir.
Every detail of the renovation pays tribute to the castle’s illustrious past while embracing modern aesthetics. The interior is furnished with the sculptural elegance of the Camerich collection and the artisanal craftsmanship of the GR collection. From the large reception areas to the more intimate salons, the spaces are characterized by clean architectural lines, soft textures, and carefully chosen finishes. Camerich’s minimalist furniture provides a calm, contemporary foundation, while selected pieces from the GR collection add depth, character, and a quiet sense of luxury.
During the transformation, the integrity of the original features, such as the wooden beams, stone fireplaces, and classic proportions, has been preserved, creating a dialogue between historical soul and modern sophistication. The result is a compelling, multifunctional space that welcomes architects, interior designers, and customers by appointment. Today, Diependael Castle is not only a showroom, but also a living canvas of timeless design, where refined materials, a noble history, and a contemporary vision come together in perfect balance.
