The difference between concrete and concrete-look
Concrete floors and concrete-look floors may look similar, but there are major differences. Concrete floors are at least 7 centimetres thick, while a concrete-look floor is only a few millimetres thick. Their properties and maintenance also differ. Because a concrete floor is at least 7 centimetres thick, it does not suit every home.
That is why concrete floors are often seen in new-build homes and in large renovation projects. A concrete-look floor suits every type of home, because it is always applied over an existing subfloor, for example a sand-cement screed. Which floor forms the perfect foundation for you?
