Studio P Architects is a design practice based in Brussels, Belgium. With a diverse international portfolio and extensive experience across projects of multiple scales, the studio works on everything from high-end private residences and commercial buildings to public buildings. Founded in 2011 in New York, NY, it relocated to Brussels, Belgium in October 2015. Through its holistic design approach, the firm delivers innovative design that is balanced with market values.
The studio takes pride in creating truly bespoke projects that respond to the client’s needs. Whether it concerns architecture, full interior design projects, decoration advice or art advisory, Studio P Architects brings a timeless style through the use of high-quality natural materials such as wood, marble, natural paint and metal.

Julie Palma Engels
Owner and founder of Studio P Architects, Julie Palma Engels is an experienced international architect who enjoys working in creative, fast-paced environments and collaborating on challenging design projects.
Julie Palma Engels studied at Henry van de Velde / University of Antwerp in Belgium, where she earned a Master in Architecture and graduated magna cum laude. In her graduation year, she received the Project² Award (Gold Medal). She is licensed in Belgium under the Ordre des Architectes and speaks French (native), English, Spanish and Dutch.
Julie previously worked as a senior designer at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in their offices in Brussels, London and Chicago. At SOM, she specialized in large-scale commercial and residential high-rise projects, as well as public buildings, transportation and urban planning worldwide. She also worked on several residential and retail renovations in Europe.
Her passion for design and architecture is clearly reflected in the range of international projects she has been commissioned for. Julie works closely with clients to understand their vision and translates it into creative solutions and widely praised design.
