Ultra-slim steel retro and muntin profiles
Years ago, Maud saw a photo of a beautiful steel door in a French interior magazine. She asked her husband Hans, a craftsman, to design and produce something similar. The result was excellent, the reactions were enthusiastic, and StalenDeurenHuys was born. The distinguishing features of this company are its ultra-slim steel retro profiles, custom workmanship, finishing and the attention given to achieving the best and most beautiful end result for a home or space. “It is not possible to make them any narrower than the slim steel profiles we use,” Maud explains the expertise of StalenDeurenHuys. “The design of the steel doors or partitions really has to suit the home. It has to be right in every respect. Only then am I satisfied. The slim steel profile is always the same, but by creating the perfect panel layout and, for example, using handles that suit the project, you achieve a beautiful final result.” That eye for detail and perfection, that creativity and bespoke craftsmanship, is part of the DNA of this small-scale and exclusive company.
