The Breakers Palm Beach, Florida

The long-standing relationship between Tihany Design and The Breakers has resulted in the reimagination of numerous spaces as part of an ongoing renovation of the entire property. Beginning with the transformation of the resort’s historic Florentine Room into the contemporary cocktail and dinner destination HMF, the areas revisited by Founded Adam Tihany and Managing Partner Alessia Genova over the years include The Breaker’s premiere offsite dining venue, the Flagler Steakhouse, the ‘hotel within a hotel’ Flagler Club Lounge, the hugely popular South Oceanfront Tower, the nautical theme Seafood Bar, the Royal Poinciana, and Imperial Suites. In summer 2019, the property unveiled the renovated iconic lobby, also designed by the Tihany Design team, transforming the resort entry into an eternal enchanted garden with a bespoke Palm Beach-inspired 161 ft long and 25 ft wide custom floral carpet. The redesigned Circle Room, Ponce de Leon Ballroom, and vibrant, refreshed poolside bungalows followed later that year.

The Breakers Palm Beach now introduces Henry’s, the newest addition to the iconic Palm Beach resort’s celebrated dining offerings. Located just off the main property in a new development on Royal Poinciana Way, Henry’s is a contemporary take on the traditional tavern pub where fresh colors and playful design details infuse a lively, distinctively Palm Beach energy into the new restaurant, creating a bright, inviting dining destination that is sure to be a new neighborhood favorite. From the entrance, guests step into the light-filled space at the prominent central bar. Tiled wood floors anchor the space while overhead, shaded brass chandeliers provide a warm glow from the large-scale coffered ceiling. Encircling the restaurant is a series of arched, floor-to-ceiling windows separated by sophisticated textured wall coverings. Situated on an island of colored mosaic limestone, the bar itself features dark wood and metal detailing, rich maroon leather bar chairs, and dropdown glass shelving overhead. The commanding 24-seat bar and adjacent 14-seat communal table near the entry create an open, lively atmosphere that emanates throughout the restaurant. The dining room has a welcoming, youthful appeal with oversized shaded sconces and comfortable table and banquette seating in shades of purple, chartreuse, and gold. At the back of the restaurant, framed artwork rests behind an elongated banquette, echoing the casual elegance of the restaurant’s interiors. Henry’s offers two private and semi-private dining areas with seating for 24 and 1.
