Color and diversity

This couple was able to replace their upstairs apartment with the space downstairs, with the big advantage of a garden. The house is in The Hague, one occupant is originally from Friesland, the other from Tilburg. That can’t help but produce something special.

The resident’s sister had already obtained most of the furnishings for her home from Meijs Wonen. As a result, this couple chose to walk into Meijs Wonen as well. In that afternoon, the interior of their living room took shape almost immediately.

Stylist Denise could totally relate to the preference for color and space. Together they were able to find the right shape for the furniture and colors and fabrics to best carry out their living desires.

Chosen were a sofa by Design on Stock, side table by Hay and an original, colorful rug by Moooi. For the dining area, the choice fell on a table and bench by Arco and chairs with gold legs by Functionals. On the wall, Vitra’s wall shelves (or Corniches) adorn the walls. Lighting and window coverings were also included.

The residents are very happy with the result (and with compliments from friends). Because of the garden and the atmosphere in the house, people are increasingly choosing to stay at home, even if the beach is nearby.
