From head to toe of steel. This steel staircase sits on a steel elevation that runs the length of the room. The steps protrude slightly through the high side, bringing a nice line to the outside of the staircase. The other (low) side is concealed in the wall. The thin, set steel steps-without visible attachment to the wall-give a floating effect. Upstairs, we installed glass in an invisible profile as a balustrade, allowing plenty of natural light to enter the modern loft.
