Semi floating staircase

Because the basic steel structure is one piece – the steel steps are welded to the stringer – it had to be hoisted up. On site, we attached the steel railing and lastly, thick, walnut treads, like a casing, were mounted over the steel. The walnut was brought out in the exact same color as the cabinet against the back wall, so the floating staircase fits perfectly with the rest of the interior.
