Villa Laren

Interior designer Appie Vos, owner of Dutch Home Design, realized for a villa in Laren in just three months a modern interior where a serene calm prevails. Only two basic colors and one type of wood were used in the complete homes. Ton-sur-ton is the code word

The large hall welcomes you immediately upon entering. Despite its light colors and clean shapes, it has a generous and warm feel. All the necessary features that a hall like this makes you expect were taken into account, such as seating and storage areas.

Not is impossible for Appie. “Similarly, the refrigerator was specially repainted by an auto paint shop in the exact beige color of the rest of the house.” This makes this refrigerator the only beige boretti in the world. And because of this color scheme, it blends perfectly into the overall picture.

The large living room is divided into formal and informal areas. The furniture custom is designed so that a children’s corner is hidden behind the large doors; after all, a family with four children lives there. After playing, close the doors and serenity returns. But details and harmony were also well thought out in the formal area. For example, the marble of the fireplace is reflected in the shelves of the open cabinet.

The owners’ bedroom on the second floor consists of several interconnected open spaces. So designed that this is a private suite in itself. The luxurious four-poster bed is the heart of the room and is surrounded by a generous bathroom, dressing room and even a lounge with kitchen facilities.
