Grand&Johnson

Founded in 2010 by Bertel Grote and Jeroom Jansen, Grand&Johnson grew out of a shared love of interior and product design. The studio has since developed into an intimate team of interior and product designers. It is a design studio where interior design for private and commercial clients is approached with great care and attention to detail, in the Netherlands and abroad.

Grand&Johnson’s strength lies in designing and realizing total concepts, developing bespoke solutions that seamlessly align with the client’s needs. The studio is primarily commissioned for villa construction and large-scale renovations. In addition to creating the interior and lighting plans, Grand&Johnson also curates all colours and materials, both indoors and outdoors. They also contribute to the finishing touches through styling and art.

Grand&Johnson’s ideal design emerges from the interplay of everything and everyone involved. It is where all details come together and form one cohesive whole: a design with a story, a world of its own. A constant search for balance in shapes, colours and materials leads to a powerful end result.

Grand&Johnson not only creates exceptional interiors, but also designs products, which are produced in collaboration with various partners. These products, some seemingly simple yet all thoughtfully refined, are presented in their 420 m2 concept store. Every visit to the concept store is a unique experience, where contemporary interior design is continuously complemented by special styling accessories.

With this concept store, Grand&Johnson expresses its philosophy: that interior design should be unique and individual. A product designed and realized with care, a design that surprises. Everything considered in detail and made from quality materials only.
