Fokkema & Partners has a particular passion for projects that push them to the limit: complex, multi-layered challenges in which the task is to turn complexity into a simple, clear design. Since the studio was founded in 1995, Fokkema & Partners has focused on designing from the inside out, starting with the user. Whether it concerns working, learning, consuming, gaining inspiration or relaxing: they think about what people share and what connects them.

They design buildings, interiors, products and graphics, and work on projects ranging from small to large-scale commissions such as comprehensive renovations, new construction and urban interiors. Many of these projects involve a high degree of complexity. In specific cases, they can offer additional services that go beyond the standard architectural scope. FOKlab was established to further develop special products under its own label.
