Francisca Hautekeete Architectuur

Francisca Hautekeete, architect in Ghent, graduated in 1998 from the Sint-Lucas School of Architecture in Ghent and started her own office in Deinze. From the outset, the emphasis was on the creation of a sleek, minimalist architecture with a focus on liveability and living experience.

In 2015, the architecture firm moved from the office building of Tallieu & Tallieu in Deinze, designed by her, to an Art Nouveau building on Fortlaan in Ghent. The historic property by the Citadelpark was previously the parental home of Jan Hoet Sr. and later an art gallery.  This move allows Francisca Hautekeete to combine living and working.

Today, together with 3 fellow architects, Francisca designs and builds around 10 projects annually, for which usually both exterior and interior are entirely of her own making.
