I founded my residential design practice in 2009 and was initially based in London, now in NYC & LA. In 2012 my husband, Nicolas Dupart, took the partnership a step further and joined as managing director. He is responsible for finance, construction and development, is a logistics expert and has, unusually for such an organisational force, great taste and an invaluable eye.
Our aesthetic is personal, warm and expressive. We are not afraid to take risks and we love bright colours and patterns. I like to refer to myself as a maximalist. For me, the sanctity of the home is of the utmost importance, especially in our hectic urban lives, in which progress has brought many benefits, but in which our lives are also more ‘on’ than ever. Having a home to return to, a sanctuary, a place that feels joyful, calm and refreshing, is the ultimate luxury. Interior design is about working with emotions and above all I believe that a home should make its owner feel renewed and happy.
At Rebekah Caudwell Design we now focus exclusively on ultra-prime residential interior design and developments; in London, NYC, the Hamptons and Los Angeles.
Previous projects include; in the US, a ski villa in Vail, Hamptons homes and numerous projects in NYC, including a townhouse in Gold Coast Greenwich Village; in the UK various homes in London, a British country house, a 73m superyacht; and a pieds dans l’eau villa on the Cap d’Antibes, France.
