New York Townhouse
With punchy patterns, vibrant colours, and a bold approach to design, husband and wife team Rebekah Caudwell and Nicolas Dupart have transformed a New York ‘Gold Coast’ townhouse.
The house had been divided into seven apartments in the 1970s, but the property had since been neglected and fallen into serious disrepair. The plan was to correct the structural issues, add a basement level, incorporate the adjacent carriage house whilst integrating the property once more into a family home. Attention was paid to the original details and to designing with respect to its Greek Revival history to bring it back to its former glory, whilst at the same time ushering it into the 21st century.
